Im having problems finding a loader for my coolsat 6100. I tried to use the usb port to load the factory and latest file ,but could not get past the language menu.I would like to try using a loader and my computer.

Download the latest file (136), you have to unzip or extract the file. When that is finished you have to take the "file paper" and drag and drop it onto your desktop. Then you delete all the files and folders on your usb stick. So your usb stick should show nothing on it. Then you drag and drop the "file paper" back on to your usb stick. Now it should be the only thing on your stick. It's like opening a present, throw away the paper and the box and only keep the present inside it. It is confusing. Now put you usb stick in the 6100 and the downloading screen should come up automatically.
i always unhook my sat cable first before downloading, hope this helps ya,.oh, by the way, go to system information screen ,my loader version shows L1.01 and my 6100 came with L1.01.

glad to hear you are getting channels! as far as the ppv , im not sure, everything is working for me . maybe go into menu screen ,click on system setting., then parent control, and switch to "unlock" on some of the settings.or all? and then do another channel scan?

Does anyone have the CS6100 136 file? if you have it where is it?
