I have come to the conclusion that my cw800 is having a conflict of interest of sorts with other ird's in my system at first it worked great. then after leaving it on the guide for a while I noticed certain transponders have no signal .and get a weak signal message I can take my c/s 5000 to the same cable and get 97% on all transponders or all channels come in.

and after a secondary scan i get invalid program if i enter205.etc the channels dissapear

I just got my cw800s..and I have the same problem on ppv and other channels..it keep on saying weak signal, but with my coolsat 5k no problem at all..could this be a problem with our box?

I have a sub on the other cable line when I plugged in the cw800s in my room.

Try i difference switch,cheap switches might cause that prob it did for me with one of my boxes..

I found the problem..I forgot to change the lnb type on the antenna setting menu from normal to ocs-dp. now all is working.

whats a good company that would recommend using?

After many test's I found my problem got alot better without the 301 &501 but my best fix was finding a bad/no ground. That made all the diff thanks to help from others. With new ground, 301 & 501 dont make a difference.
