My family owns a cabin on a lake, this summer I have commuted back and forth and set up my new CW 800 pvr. Now that winter approaches and I won’t commute so much - I have a problem.

At home I have Direct TV with 2 TiVo units 2 normal receivers and about a 90.00 a month package. I of course want to get another 800 or 2 and here are my questions.

Will an 800 work off of a DTV dish (3 transponders) or should I start fresh

Can I just hack DTV

If I get an 800 and keep the small package for the kids to TiVo cartoons, and I later cancel will DTV tell on me

I think I own the dish and at least 2 of the receivers, maybe all – are they worth anything

Thanks in advance

Sorry if this is posted in the wrong place

Sorry there is no hack for DTV..subscribe or nothing.

But you can get yourself a dish 500 and receive dish from 119,110 with your CW800.:)
