I have had a CS 8100 HD Micro PVR receiver now for about 2 weeks.

I have noticed a definate problem with the PVR function where in the playback mode the sound goes completely "out of sync" with the video and then it freezes. In my opinion, because of this problem, it is completely useless for recording standard definition channels but HD channels record and playback flawlessly.

I have tried a Seagate Freeagent 320 GB drive (New) and a western digital 120 GB drive and both give the same condition. Both are formatted to FAT32.

I have also tried flashing unit with all available bins from 11170F - 11177F and the factory bin (11170A) and I get the same condition every time.

Need to hear from other 8100 users that may have the same problem or anyone who has it recording and playing back properly.
